DNA-CONTINUED

Could this be a scandal against a man who was proceeding with a lawsuit against the government for false imprisonment? Or is it a case of a good man spending time in a jail atmosphere gone bad??

I think he was an innocent man who the system screwed and the anger built up for all those years until he decided that since he spent so much time in prison, he should do something to warrant it. That's why they hesitate to lock up juvenile offenders for minor crimes because while they are locked up, they learn to commit more serious crimes from those who they are locked up with. Like a criminal bootcamp. Can you imagine the anger this man must have had to be locked up for 18 yrs, knowing he didn't do the crime? Now I was watching a story on the news about the "Innocence Project" and they only select those that are on death row who had been sentenced without the use of DNA evidence. And they did show one case where they went back and tested the evidence for DNA, and in the end, the DNA proved the man was guilty. But some of these people have been locked up long before DNA evidence became accepted by the legal system. So, it can help but it can also hurt.
