TWO FACES OF PRESIDENT NIXON

NIXON

Papers recently released show that although Richard Nixon appeared to be hawkish when it came to war, he was terrified of an all out nuclear war with the USSR. Even during mock nuclear drills, his people said that he became extremely worried about the forecasted loss of life if such attacks were to actually happen.

NIXON AND CAMPS

But then there is anther side of Nixon. I heard about this from a professor in College but until now I haven't been able to find anything that proved it. I was told that because of the civil unrest that took place during the Vietnam war, Nixon came up with an idea to set up these camps where he had planned to take kids away from their parents by the time they became teenagers and to try and "re-educate" them so they wouldn't be rioting on the streets like the did during the Vietnam war. The camps were already being set up when, as I was told, some of Nixon's own people purposely did things to attract attention to Nixon. They wanted to stop him before he could bring his plan to fruition. Now it appears that there is some proof to the story.
