This was one story you knew wouldn't going to end happily but it did show one thing. That not all New Yorkers are cold hearted. They came to the aid of this 4 yr old. A far cry from the Kitty Genovese murder of 1964.

March 13, 1964, she was attacked outside her apartment building three times in one night and it wasn't until it was all over before anyone called the police.
