I think it's the black politicians that are worried more about Louisiana than the white politicians. Most of the poor black population has moved out of New Orleans and some have found jobs in other states. So, the chances they will come back are slim but one good aspect about it is, before the hurricanes New Orleans had a 23% poverty level. Now, with the exodus, New Orleans can rebuild their economic base. Those houses in the 9th ward can be rebuilt. Better housing, better occupants, more tax money coming in.
