THE NEW SUNNI MOVEMENT

SUNNIS

In the Anbar Province, a province almost entirely made up of Sunnis, there is a movement to unite and be a part of the new Government. A new political group of tribal leaders made up of professionals and academia, are uniting in a group called, Public Democratic Movement. Their hope is to bring in more Sunnis to participate and maybe take away the influence of the insurgency.
