LUNAR LANDINGS

mojoala said...

never mentioned....

Because it never happened. Just one telescope could be turned toward the moon and give us a shot of any artifacts we left there. Even the Hubble telescope could be turned toward the moon and give us a picture of our relics left there.

That alone would settle the conspiracy theory that we did not go to the moon.

Why has not one telescope given us a picture of what we left behind as proof. $hit a picture of the largest object, the lunar rover, should be convincing.

Just on picture is all it would take.

Just one lousy picture. Why can't someone provide just one picture?

Gives the locations of the landing sites.

As for Hubble seeing the debris left on the moon;
"An object on the Moon 4 meters (4.37 yards) across, viewed from HST, would be about 0.002 arcsec in size. The highest resolution instrument currently on HST is the Advanced Camera for Surveys at 0.03 arcsec. So anything we left on the Moon cannot be resolved in any HST image. It would just appear as a dot."

I also found a neat site that gets as close as possible to the sites as you can from your PC if you wish to take a look.

We landed on the moon, we landed craft on Mars and we send satellites into space that go beyond our solar system. I know these wont sway you, but when America goes back to the Moon or China or anyone and they see the Stars and Stripes and all the other crap that was left behind, what will you say then?

I'll let you to argue this one out. All I know was I camped out in front of the TV when Apollo 13 had their accident. And yes they showed the service module with the whole side panel missing. In 1970, they couldn't have faked such things.

Mojo must have been a big fan of Capricorn One, a tv movie starring O.J. Simpson, but after his trial, can we believe anything he did, except maybe his football stats?

if we had the technology 40 years ago to go to the moon, why is it we are not going to be able to go back until 2015?

And from all reports, it looks like the chinese just might make it there before we do. We are so technologically superior in the space program, we should be able to get there next year with the same technology we used 40 years ago.

And why have we not been back? More so during the cold war. An unmanned base on the moon would have given us the undisputed air superiority over the Russian.

The Russians were in the race to the moon as well, and then all of a sudden they just gave up. Russians during the cold war just giving up on a race against us? It holds no logic, unless they realized that it was impossible to actually go there for a number of reasons. Remember that they beat us in every other space race endeavor except that one. They put the first animal in space, they put the first man in space, they were the first to orbit the earth, they beat us on everything except going to the moon. Does not your curiosity just make you wonder why?

RUSSIANS JUST DON'T GIVE UP!
