If anyone doubted what kind of mayor Bloomberg would be in a crisis, he showed his mettle last week when it was announced a threat had been made against New York City's subway system. He announced that he would ride the subways to work like he normally does, and because of that, many New Yorkers did the same. Maybe there is hope for him after all.
