CONSTITUTION

you are missing the point. The Supreme Court has been since 1803 infested with judges who become Legislators. There is no checks and balances in their minds. Look at Justice Bryers (byers) whatever. He along with Ginsberg, I believe Kennedy has been involved too are going to foreign law to find the result they want. It is dangerous to be doing crazy things like this. That is why Congress needs to get its act together and actually use Judicial Review. Also, Nominees need to be only ones who will interpret law, not make it or look outside the Constitution.

FINALLY!!! You gave up the "carved in stone" idea and came up with something that is practical. Yes, there needs to be some "judicial Review" by Congress to keep the Supreme Court from usurping both Congress and the President. And I heard an idea on one of the news channels but since I now have cable and click between all of them, I don't remember where I heard it. But, its been suggested on Term Limits for Supreme Court Justices. After all, even here on the local level, every election, there are judges campaigning to stay on the bench. This would prevent either political party from "stacking the deck" in their favor.

Term limits is probably the only way to keep our judicial system from getting top heavy during one administration (such as how it's going to be very soon). Judgemental decisions need to be made by minds uncluttered by political garbage.
