NEW ORLEANS POLICE SUPERINTENDENT RESIGNS

NEW ORLEANS

Amid allegations that even the police were involved with the looting and about 250 police officers absent after the storm, Edwin P. Compass III resigned. CNN even reported that two weeks after the storm, while visiting his men in the field, Compass
had a pedicure, a massage and a haircut. The city is in shambles and he is worried about his grooming.
