He thinks it's unfair? Sounds like he wanted cash and a way to get his daughter back if he changed his mind by requesting no lawyers to be involved. How sad for the little girl to have such a poor excuse for a parent. Let's pray the mother was clueless to the situation and will step up and raise her daughter properly or they find a good loving home for her.

Apparently the mother is also Asian and was out of the country, visiting family when this took place. Vietnamese are hard to figure out anyway. Here in Montgomery, there was a Vietnamese man who slit the throats of his three kids because his wife was planning on leaving him. He's still sitting on death row.
