CIA

LEAK

After one of its agents was fired for leaking information to the press, the CIA is cracking down on its own personnel. Going as far as having Inspector General John L. Helgerson, the watch-dog for the agency, to take a polygraph. Porter Goss, the CIA director, wants to tighten up security and stop those who have worked for the CIA and have either been let go or retired, from writing books about the agency and its secrets. I agree, what good is the agency if everyone knows everything that they do? Its not like the days of J. Edgar Hoover who was spying on everyone for fear of a Communist take over. Today there are real threats and its important that the CIA can do its job.
