DRIVE-INS-CONTINUED

The drive in never left this area. It is still a beloved family outing. On the weekends the lines stretch into the street. Thank goodness the clunky speakers you describe are a thing of the past.
Well, the three we had here were torn down in the early 70's. They built a walk in theater and shopping center on one location. Another was a car lot for a long time and I think the third was turned into a trailer park. I think it would be great to have more of them around. That way you could watch a movie without the kid behind you kicking your seat or people behind you talking all through the movie. And lets not forget the cell phones that go off during a movie.
