BIRD FLU
They keep talking about this "Bird Flu" as the next Pandemic, but 30 yrs ago, the next pandemic since the flu of the 1920s was "Swine Flu."
SWINE FLU
During Ford's Administration, there was a huge fear that the "Swine Flu" would wipe out millions of people. A lot of money and time went into developing a vaccine. Only, the next great pandemic didn't occur. We have real health concerns that are out there. The Ebola Virus, Dengue Fever, Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome. All these are real and could affect the mainland US alot sooner than the Bird Flu.

With the "bird" issue Problems with the Flu's. There is a concern is with the Damage to the Lungs , and Pulmonary Hypertension. Make sense? or am I rambling?
