You know, I've heard some people say that those that were trapped by the flood either at the Superdome or the convention center, were victims of their own doing. That they purposely stayed behind in hopes of looting the stores and shops and when it was all over, no one would be the wiser. Well I saw something today that gave credence to that argument. On Fox News Sunday, they were interviewing two women who were separated from their family members and was hoping to find them. One woman, wearing a tattered looking dress and standing in line for gov't assistance, reached into "her" Louis Vuitton handbag for a wadded up tissue to wipe her eyes. First of all, if she could afford a Louis Vuitton handbag, then she doesn't need assistance. She should have had the money to leave the city long before the hurricane hit.
