BUSH RETURNED

Like Gen. Douglas Macarthur did during WW II, vowing to return to the Philippines, Bush vowed to return to New Orleans and just like Macarthur, he did. Now, he is battling with Louisiana's Democratic governor, Kathleen Babineaux Blanco over who should be in control of the National Guard. She believes she should be in control since she, according to her, dispatched them. BUT, it wasn't until the President visited the area and promised support that the Guard show up in full force. Many people died waiting for the Guard to come in and restore some semblance of order
