TORTURE

BILL

Look, I understand that we are supposed to be a politically correct country and be above the others in the way we treat people. And I understand that John McCain spent alot of time in a Vietnam prison as a prisoner of war, but why should we be the only country in the world who follows the Geneva Convention? Look at Japan in WWII. They disected pregnant women, they put soldiers arms in liquid nitrogen to see the affects of frostbite.

Or in Vietnam, they way they treated American prisoners. Or even the Iraqis. Its funny how those countries treat prisoners bad but if we catch one of them, they yell Geneva Convention.

I think we should treat them like they do, or else, take them to the world court for abuse of prisoners.

The Geneva convention was held so countries could conduct "humane" wars so the premise was false from the get go. There is no such thing as a "humane" war. War is an atrocity and when men decide to tear one another up, humanity goes out the window. It's one reason the Veep wants to loosen up the 'torture of prisoners' tenet of the Geneva Convention.
