Well, the people that were stopping by there were the firemen and those of search and rescue. Mainly they stayed open to give those firemen and cops and those involved in the clean up a place to take a break from the sun.
And of course it was told in TV that the police make hourly check ins to make sure nothing is getting out of hand.

Did you hear about the 30 bodies that were Found at that Nursing home? And the Owners were in Texas shopping? and those Poor Old People Left at the Nursing home to Die. That was SAD! they said one guy was trying to Wheel himself out of one of the windows when the water was Rising. He was actually floating on a Mattress.Where is the Justice? Criminal Charges are in the making agaist that couple in charge of that nursing home!
