I was born in the country and my mom made me take a bath every Saturday in a tub on the back porch and Saturday is still bath day...the rest of the week I just stay dirty...oops, wifey said knock it off..lol

Hey, I know you're joking but I have relatives that live in the country and grew up during the depression, so yes that was real, the Saturday night baths. The rest of the week, you put a pot of water on the stove to heat up and poured it in a basin, added cold water until it was somewhat comfortable and sponge bathed. Thats why my present living situation isn't so depressing. I have running water, the only luxuries I don't have in this house is central heat and air.
