MEDICARE PART D
MEDICARE
The new Medicare part D that is supposed to be helping those on Medicare pay for perscription drugs is having a major side effect. For those on expensive cancer drugs, they pay almost the same as before the new Part D took effect. The only way the qualify for any relief is if they have less that $30,000 dollars in income a year. The drugs themselves cost almost that much a year. There's still some kinks to work out of the system.
