LINK IN FISH EVOLUTION

MISSING LINK

Scientist think they found the missing link in the fish chain, from a land animal to a sea animal. The fossil they found dates back 350 million years. It shows evidence of leg like fins. But its not the first to have fins that resemble legs. The Coelacanth is a fish that was re-discovered in 1938 off coast of Madagascar.

FISH

I first read about the coelacanth when I was in 5th grade. It fascinated me how a fish that was supposed to be exist for 400 million years would be found still alive. And it had leg like fins and could live out of water longer that most fish. Since 1938 many other live specimens have been found.

If man evolved from apes, why then are there still apes? I think what the may have found is an early amphibian possibly. Because what they describe sounds like the way a frog evolves.
