MEDICARE

The Medicare perscription drug plan might have been a good idea, but its so confusing that it will be hard for people who need it most to sign up for it. In most states, the people have over three dozen choices of plans. All vary in premiums, coverage, deductables, co-pays. There's some places even setting up workshops to help explain it to people.

In Kansas alone, there are 40 plans and the premiums go from $9.48 a month to $67.88. Each plan covers certain types of drugs.

Its great they came up with a plan, but they need to make it easier for those tho need to go understand it so they can sign up for it.
