FEMA IS AGAIN UNDER FIRE

CLASSROOMS

Local contractors in the Mississippi and Louisiana area are complaining that FEMA gave the Army Corps of Engineers the contract to set up portable classrooms in what they claim was a no bid deal. They also state that the trailers used for classrooms are not anchored to concrete pads as required by law. And they the price being paid to the ACE is inflated from what it would normally cost to set up those trailers. This event has not been a good showing for FEMA.
