I think we need to stop bowing down to the rest of the world and fight the war to win it.

I agree. They start worrying about public opinion and then the enemy takes advantage of that, knowing they can do what they want, but Americans have to fight a humane war. They all scream Geneva Convention when it comes to the Americans but the other countries never follow the Geneva Accords.

But we are Americans! We are suppose to be above reproach! We were the leaders at the Geneva Convention that provided the most input for the rules governing warfare and the treatment of prisoners and dead bodies.

We can't dictate to the world how things should be done and then go and do otherwise.

The ultimate hypocrity is:

"DO AS I SAY NOT WHAT I DO"

It's the principle of the matter, the Senate saying no to their payraise and having the mentality that: "if we can't get richer" then we are not going to allow the poor to a tad bit better off.
