HURRICANE RITA

RITA

Luckily, Rita was no Katrina. And if anything good can be said about Katrina, is that she showed that you can't ride out the storm if you live on the coast. When the mayor and Governor say evacuate, you evacuate.

Although there were 24 lives lost on that bus near Dallas as a result of Rita, it wasn't the hundreds that were lost in New Orleans. And even with that, the governments, both state and federal are looking at the way for those in nursing homes and hospitals that are hooked up to oxygen, can be transported safely, without the fear that their oxygen tanks will explode.

The Governors of the states affected and the federal government this time had their assets close enough to get aid in as soon as the storm cleared, something not done with Katrina.

Actually Rita was another Katrina. According to the Extreme Right(you know! dem Protestants), Katrina took out all the Casinos east of New Orleans and Rita took out all the Casinos west of New Orleans.

Intelligent Design?
